Michelle Ye did not lose anything in economy collapse; won 20 bucks from pageant bet

Michelle Ye was present as guest for the shooting of ATV's program '50 Years' Challenges of Pageants. As the champion of Miss Chinese International 1999, she admitted that she did not pay much attention to the reports of pageants these days, laughingly said that even her participation in pageant that year was quite a 'muddle'. However, she also admitted that she did notice champion of Miss Asia Pageant 2004, Coffee Lu (Lu Jing Jing), "I was filming that time, I bet with others on who would win the pageant that year, Lu Jing Jing won me 20 bucks."

She also revealed that she is recently busy filming the movie 'Assassins' as well as another modern time movie. When asked if she lost anything in the recent economy collapse, she said: "Luckily my manager asked me to sell all before that, so I'm not affected." She also said she would prefer to invest in properties: "A piece of paper somehow still doesn't feel as secure as a building.
