At the moment, quite a number of channels are airing ‘Jiao Yi Sheng Ma Ma’, my mother gave me a call after watching: “The music is good, the singing is good.”

She just never mentioned how the script I wrote was.

So I asked: What else is good?

Mother: The thrills

That is considered quite a compliment.

Ever since this series is aired in Shanghai, I’ve met Michelle Ye for quite a number of times, I really have a liking for this young lady. What I like most about her is her unfaltering courtesy. Every time we have meal, she would excuse herself to the washroom halfway through. Then when I turn to ask for the bill, she’ll hold onto my hand: Sister Li Ping, I’ve already paid for it.

Then, we’ll look at each other and laugh.
